Fantastic Worlds: An Anthology of Resources for Fantasy PbtA Games collects into one volume many of the most valuable Creative Commons articles from the Dungeon World Syllabus. Whether you’re playing Dungeon World, Freebooters on the Frontier, Homebrew World, Unlimited Dungeons, other fantasy PbtA games, or even your own personal hack, I hope you’ll find this ebook to be a useful reference. I also hope this will introduce you to many of the great paid and free supplements available.

Thanks to all the authors and members of the fantasy-PbtA community who posted material under a Creative Commons license, so that it could be adapted and excerpted. For those with paid products, I tried to use only a portion of those works and then link to their store page for those products. You can post comments directly to the Google Doc, linking to additional references in the “See also” sections and pointing out any typos or formatting errors you notice. If you’ve written anything that you think should be incorporated, please license it under the Creative Commons and publish it to your blog or Google Drive and add a link in Other Resources.

And, of course, you can create forks of this book as well. Cut out the parts you don’t like, add new sections, re-theme, change all the moves to use 2d10, whatever works for you! If you do want to create a version for sale, however, you’ll need to remove the content that has been licensed for noncommercial re-use only (clearly labeled in the Licenses section).
